Kessong is a Nigerian born musician. born February 27th in Akwa Ibom state, the south south of Nigeria. Her music is a fusion of reggae, pop, hip hop and dance hall.
Her altar ego "Sheena" (queen of the jungle) creates room for her fierce vibes especially when delivering her partua flows. Kessong grew up to become a singer, song writer and composer in a tight christian family where she started singing in her church choir at age 14 and started composing songs as early as 13. due to ignorance and lack of quality studios in her home town at the time, as well as musically inclined friends to inspire her, kessong took a break from the music scene to pursue her modelling career at the age of 16. She excelled exceedingly in the field as physique and beauty such as hers in high demand in the modelling world, so much that in 2013, she became the first ever Ibom face of royalty queen as she emerge winner in the highly acclaimed beauty pageant. When she moved to Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2009 to pursue her music career professionally, that's when her passion and love for music was reignited once again.As her insatiable thirst to make music drove her to record her first ever rap single in "so dope" at grafton studios, and has since never looked back as she's been working underground with ph city based artists and upcoming artists alike. kessong sites mavado, fela kuti, kendrick lamar, rihanna, jessie jagz, future, trinidad james, nicki minaj, burna boy and bob marley, to mention but a few as her role models.........
